1. Who we are

This site is run by Dewey Botanicals LLC, doing business as Dewey Cannabis Co. ("Dewey", "we", "us"), a licensed cannabis producer and processor in Pullman, Washington. This policy covers deweycannabis.com and the forms and emails that come from it.

2. What we collect

What you give us

• Contact form: your name, email address, topic and message.
• Wholesale forms: your name, email, phone number, store name, city, WSLCB license number, the products you're interested in and your message.
• Email signup: your email address.
• Emails you send us: whatever you choose to include.

What the site collects automatically

Our website platform, Squarespace, records standard technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that sent you here and the time of your visit. We use this in aggregate to see how the site is used.

3. How we use it

• To reply to your message or wholesale inquiry.
• To check that wholesale inquiries come from licensed retailers.
• To send the emails you signed up for.
• To run, secure and improve the site.
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. We share it only:

• With service providers that run parts of the site for us: Squarespace (website hosting, forms and analytics) and Google (where form messages and email signups are stored). They may use it only to provide those services.
• When the law requires it, including requests from regulators such as the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board.
• If the business, or part of it, is sold or reorganized. Any buyer would be bound by this policy for the information it receives.

5. Cookies and the age check

The site uses cookies and similar browser storage. Some are needed for the site to work. Others, set by Squarespace, measure how pages are used.

When you confirm you're 21 or older, we save that answer and the time in your browser for 30 days so we don't ask on every visit. It contains no personal details and is never sent to us.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. If you clear them, the site will ask your age again.

6. Email

If you sign up, we email you about new strains and restocks. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at info@deweycannabis.com.

7. How long we keep it

We keep form messages and wholesale records for as long as we need them to answer you, work with your store or meet our legal obligations. Email signups are kept until you unsubscribe.

8. Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it or delete it. Email info@deweycannabis.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm it's you first, and we may have to keep some records the law requires.

9. Adults only

This site is for adults 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If we learn that we have, we delete it.

10. Health information

We don't ask for or collect health information. Please don't send any through our forms or by email. If you do, we'll delete it.

11. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect what you send us, and the site runs over an encrypted connection. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee it.

12. Other websites

The site links to sites we don't run, such as our wholesale ordering platform, Instagram and published research. Their privacy policies apply when you visit them.

13. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted on the site.
